Job summary

Philips is seeking an RTR Accounting Controller for the META region to own regional financial records and reporting integrity across multiple entities. This role covers IFRS-driven close, statutory compliance, and coordination with Global Hub and shared service centers.

You will lead the monthly close, oversee reconciliations, advise on complex transactions, and guide a distributed accounting team while driving process standardisation and timely audits.

Qualifications

• Recognized professional accounting qualification or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close for the region and ensure data for group consolidation.
• Review financial statements for IFRS compliance and meet reporting deadlines.
• Monitor Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and clear aged items.
• Determine accounting treatment for complex transactions in consultation with Technical Accounting & Oversight.
• Manage the statutory-to-IFRS bridge across local GAAP books, statutory audits, tax audits and local regimes.
• Coordinate remote or distributed teams and drive standardisation of accounting processes.
• Act as regional point of contact for Record-to-Report and drive issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
