MENA Regional Finance Controller — IFRS & Forecasting

Job summary

Elevate Mena seeks a Regional Financial Controller to lead financial control, reporting and day-to-day operations across the MENA region. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director and guiding a three-person team, you will ensure the integrity of financial information, close processes, and strong controls across entities.

You will support forecasts, cash flow visibility and analyses in a fast-paced project-based sports and entertainment environment, working with external advisers where needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with at least ten years of relevant finance experience.
• Extensive controllership experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency Middle East environment (UAE and Saudi Arabia).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory and management reporting, audit, tax compliance, treasury and working capital management.
• Experience in a project-based services business; sports/entertainment experience desirable.
• Arabic language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and year-end close across the MENA entities with timely reporting to stakeholders.
• Prepare and review management accounts, balance sheets, cash flow reports and schedules with clear commentary.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, COA, master data and intercompany balances; review finance team output.
• Ensure IFRS and group accounting policies are applied consistently across MENA entities.
• Lead regional statutory audits and coordinate timely financial statements and external reporting.
• Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to resolve accounting issues affecting project reporting.
