Job summary

BD in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Commercial Training Manager for the META region to design, develop, and execute capability-building programs across sales, marketing, clinical and commercial leaders. The role partners with Business Units, Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Sales Leadership, HR and Medical Affairs to support growth and evolving go-to-market models.

It will drive onboarding, certification, and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Education, or related discipline.
• MBA is nice to have.
• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Training, Sales Enablement, Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations and Learning & Development.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or life sciences.
• Experience developing and delivering regional training programs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and prioritize learning interventions.
• Align training initiatives with META strategic priorities and growth plans.
• Support the transition from distributor-led to direct-market commercial models through targeted capability development programs.
• Design and implement learning curricula for sales, marketing, clinical and commercial leaders.
• Develop training programs covering direct selling skills, solution selling, strategic account management, negotiation and contracting, territory and quota management, sales forecasting, customer engagement, and BD Excellence methodologies.
• Create blended learning solutions including instructor-led, virtual, digital and field-based learning.
• Track learning participation, completion and effectiveness; establish dashboards to measure outcomes.
