Job summary

Eco Archs is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support cost management and contract administration for the KAFD project. You will prepare BOQs, monitor costs, assess contractor payments, and maintain contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years’ consultancy QS experience, including large-scale projects. Arabic fluency is preferred, with English as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consultancy-based QS roles.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects (KAFD experience is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and cost control processes.
• Proficiency in QS tools such as Excel and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and quantity take-offs.
• Evaluate contractor payment applications, variations, and change orders.
• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Review contract documents and identify financial or contractual risks.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and design teams to resolve commercial issues.
• Maintain accurate cost records, reports, and contract documentation.
• Participate in negotiations to ensure optimal value and cost efficiency.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
