Job summary

BCI Holding SA is seeking a QC & Product Development Technician to support quality control testing, laboratory operations, and product development activities. You will test raw materials and finished products, maintain laboratory equipment, support development projects, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–2 years of industrial experience, with strong QC/QA knowledge, analytical skills, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) principles.

• Good communication and coordination skills; proficient with LEAN ERP.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products per procedures.
• Assist in product development: test method development, validation, and evaluation of new or modified products.
• Prepare reagents and laboratory solutions; maintain equipment calibration.
• Analyze test results and support process and product improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, product specifications, quality records, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, laboratory safety, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with Production and Warehouse on testing needs and proper storage conditions.
• Enter test results and quality data into the LEAN ERP system.

Job Summary

We are seeking a QC & Product Development Technician to support quality control testing, laboratory operations, and product development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing raw materials and finished products, maintaining laboratory equipment, supporting product development projects, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

Quality Control & Testing: Conduct laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.

Product Development: Assist in research and product development projects, including test method development, validation, and evaluation of new or modified products.

Laboratory Operations: Prepare reagents and laboratory solutions and ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.

Analysis & Improvement: Analyze test results, identify trends or deviations, and support process and product improvement initiatives.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, product specifications, quality records, and other required laboratory documentation.

Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with quality standards, laboratory procedures, company policies, and health and safety requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams regarding product quality, testing requirements, and proper storage conditions.

ERP & Data Management: Maintain accurate laboratory records and enter test results, quality data, and technical information into the LEAN ERP system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, polymers, chemicals, or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret test results and identify trends.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory testing methods, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to prepare laboratory reagents and solutions accurately.
• Good understanding of quality standards, laboratory safety, and documentation requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with Production, Warehouse, and other departments.
• Good computer skills and ability to accurately record and manage technical data in LEAN ERP.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in polymers, adhesives, coatings, or chemical manufacturing.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with test method development and validation.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Experience using ERP systems for quality or laboratory data management.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic performance and relevant laboratory or internship experience may also be considered.
