Job description

To manage all the operations of laboratory (including samples collection, analysis, reporting, requesting to procure the needed items) and support in implementation of quality procedures. Also, to assist the technical manager in some duties.

Qualifications

. Bachelor’s in chemistry or science.

. Awareness of ISO 17025:2017 requirement is mandated

. Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018.

. 3 - 5 years' experience or have at least five years of relevant experience.

. Good at using LIMS and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

. Experienced in handling analytical equipment related to chemical laboratories.

. Fully aware of quality standards related to chemical analysis.

Duties and responsibilities

1. To ensure to be the focal point of contact for technicians, chemists, & senior chemists performing testing.

2. To ensure to be the focal point of contact with customer in order to facilitate their activities with respect to the testing.

3. To interface for communication between chemists and Manager

4. To ensure sample collection, transportation, receiving inspection, identification and storage of samples as per required standards.

5.To ensure proper identification of samples during the lifecycle of testing.

6. To ensure testing conducted as per International Standard (ASTM Standards, APHA, & etc.) and Client Standard (Saudi Aramco).

7. To ensure availability of Laboratory Procedure Manual, Work Instructions, Checklists, Operating instructions for equipment at point of use.

8. To train all the senior chemists / chemists / technicians for different methods.
