Job summary

Kent Group FZCO is seeking an experienced Civil QC Inspector for our Eastern Saudi Arabia-based project support. The role focuses on proactive quality improvements, inspections, testing, and timely reporting to quality leadership.

You will design and track quality objectives, manage deviations, coordinate with client representatives, and maintain quality records to uphold Kent Group's standards on site.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or Diploma in a related field.
• Aramco Approval and CBT Pass.
• Knowledge of building codes such as IBC or equivalent.
• Experience in construction and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and track project quality objectives.
• Attend inspections and testing per ITP.
• Manage quality documentation and deviations.
• Record deviations from Project Quality Program and Kent MS.
• Coordinate with client representatives for timely inspections.
• Generate RFIs for inspections with proper notices.
• Close out Deviation/PI items in Punchlist system.
• Monitor calibration status of test equipment.
• Support construction on the Project Quality Program.
• Promote quality culture across the organization.
• Explain quality policy and organizational context.
• Assist in selection and training related to quality.

Job Summary: Kent is looking for an experienced Civil QC Inspector to join our Eastern Saudi Arabia-based project support in the achievement project and organization goals visions and objectives. Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and create suitable action plans to improve project performance. Produce weekly monthly reports to the project Quality leadership as applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally to design develop and track project quality objectives
• Attend all necessary inspections and testing s as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan ITP
• Perform a variety of inspection functions Quality documentation management
• Record and document all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System
• Update the Punchlist management system with all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System
• Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out expediently
• Generate client Requests for Inspection RFI where required providing sufficient notice for Hold Witness and Inspection points
• Carry out inspections on Exception Items Punch items EI as documented in the Punchlist management system and sign off as closed when activity is approved complete
• Continually carry out surveillance inspections on the project recording and documenting all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System
• Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project to ensure the equipment is within calibration prior to use
• Provide support to the construction personnel in relation to the Project Quality Program and the Kent Management System
• Maintain a good working relationship with all Kent and Client personnel
• Maintain good record keeping of activities carried out and inspection reports surveillance reports etc
• Where required assist with the development of project Inspection Test Plans ITP s and associated Quality Records QRs and Test Records TRs for the project scope of works in accordance with the contract requirements applicable legislative local government and other regulatory requirements
• Analyze report give recommendations on how to improve quality performance
• Promote a positive quality culture throughout the organization
• Understand and communicate the quality policy and the organizational context
• Embrace embody and promote quality management principles
• Assist in employee selection career development succession planning and periodic training

Qualifications

• QC Inspector shall be a Trade Qualified / Diploma or equivalent - Degree holder preferred.
• Aramco Approval + CBT Pass
• Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of recognized building codes such as the International Building Code (IBC) or equivalent standards.
• As applicable for the work, he shall demonstrate thorough knowledge and proven ability in construction
• Shall be fully conversant with applicable Industry Standards and Specifications ACI American Concrete Institue
• Computer literate, familiar with proprietary administration software
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communicator
• Maintain a good standard of written and spoken English
• The Inspector shall comply with the discipline specific criteria noted below
• The Inspector shall meet as a minimum the following years of relevant experience
