Job summary

KBR is seeking a QA/QC Electrical Engineer in Saudi Arabia to supervise electrical works during installation and commissioning, ensuring adherence to contract documents and safety procedures. The role requires strong leadership, inspection planning, and experience with test and commissioning activities across oil & gas maintenance projects.

The candidate will review shop and vendor drawings, material submittals, specifications, and calculations, and will implement the Electrical Quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to Quality assurance.
• Well organized with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical progress of works, installation and commissioning.
• Plan and control the inspection of all electrical works and related activities.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical works.
• Monitor final inspection before handing over to client.
• Review electrical shop drawings and vendor drawings for contract conformance.
• Review electrical materials submittals for contract conformance.
• Review electrical specifications and calculations for conformance.
• Implement the Electrical Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings and O&M manuals for mechanical works.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and report unsafe acts.

Responsibilities

• Can Supervise & Follow up Electrical progress of works, installation & Commissioning of deferent units.
• Able to Plan & Control the inspection of all Electrical works and related activities.
• With Experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical works.
• Monitor the final inspection of completed Electrical works before handling over to the Client.
• Able to Review Electrical Shop drawings and Vendor drawings for compliance with Contract Documents.
• Review Electrical Materials submittals for compliance with Contract Documents.
• Review Electrical Specifications & Calculations for conformance with Contract Documents.
• Implement the Electrical Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as built drawings of MECHANICAL works, operation & maintenance manuals and warranty.
• Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree holder in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to Quality assurance.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.
