Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a QA/QC Instrument Engineer (Saudi National) to lead instrumentation quality assurance across oil & gas maintenance projects. The role emphasizes supervision, inspection planning and safe execution in line with international standards.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor degree in engineering with strong communication skills and proven leadership within large organizations, ensuring compliance with contract documents and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree holder in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to Quality assurance.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise instrumentation progress of works, installation and commissioning.
• Plan and control inspection of all instrumentation works.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of instrumentation works.
• Monitor final inspection of completed instrumentation before handover to client.
• Review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings for contract compliance.
• Review instrumentation materials submittals for contract compliance.
• Review instrumentation specifications and calculations for conformance.
• Implement the Instrumentation Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings and manuals, ensuring safety compliance.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with SHE procedures prior to and during work.

KBR is looking for QA/QC instrument Engineer who carries out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to mechanical works in accordance with the organization’s standard.

Responsibilities

• Can Supervise & Follow up Instrumentation progress of works, installation & Commissioning of deferent units.
• Able to Plan & Control the inspection of all Instrumentation works and related activities.
• With Experience in Testing & Commissioning of Instrumentation works.
• Monitor the final inspection of completed Instrumentation works before handling over to the Client
• Able to Review Instrumentation Shop drawings and Vendor drawings for compliance with Contract Documents.
• Review Instrumentation Materials submittals for compliance with Contract Documents.
• Review Instrumentation Specifications & Calculations for conformance with Contract Documents
• Implement the Instrumentation Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as built drawings of Instrumentation works, operation & maintenance manuals and warranty . Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions
• Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree holder in Engineering or equivalent Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to Quality assurance Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills Proven leadership skills with large organizations Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems Strategic management skills
