Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Quality Assurance Electrical Engineer to lead QA for electrical works within SATORP projects in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on supervising electrical progress, inspection planning, testing/commissioning, and ensuring compliance with contract documents and safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8+ years in oil & gas maintenance, with strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate large teams and complex installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong understanding of QA in electrical works and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise & follow up ELECTRICAL progress of works, installation & commissioning of units.
• Plan & control inspections of all ELECTRICAL works and related activities.
• Experience in testing & commissioning of ELECTRICAL works.
• Review ELECTRICAL shop drawings and vendor drawings for contract compliance.
• Review ELECTRICAL materials submittals for compliance with Contract Documents.
• Review ELECTRICAL specifications & calculations for conformance with Contract Documents.
• Implement the SATORP ELECTRICAL Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals, and warranties.
• Ensure compliance with all SHE procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Can Supervise & Follow up ELECTRICAL progress of works, installation & Commissioning of deferent units of the SATORP
• Able to Plan & Control the inspection of all ELECTRICAL works and related activities
• With Experience in Testing & Commissioning of ELECTRICAL works
• Monitor the final inspection of completed ELECTRICAL works before handling over to the Client Able to Review ELECTRICAL Shop drawings and Vendor drawings for compliance with Contract Documents
• Review ELECTRICAL Materials submittals for compliance with Contract Documents
• Review ELECTRICAL Specifications & Calculations for conformance with Contract Documents
• Implement the SATORP ELECTRICAL Quality Assurance Plan
• Review as built drawings of ELECTRICAL works, operation & maintenance manuals and warrant
• Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures
• Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree holder in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to Quality assurance
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
• Strategic management skills
