Afaq Q Tech General Trading in Riyadh seeks a Category Manager for Amazon Now to oversee non-fresh categories, driving selection, pricing, promos, and growth for Q-commerce. You will collaborate with internal teams to optimize assortment, margins, and basket penetration.

The role requires strong financial analysis, P&L ownership, and 5+ years in retail or program management, with experience in large data sets and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
• 5+ years in retail, operations, product or program management with negotiations and delivering results.
• Experience managing large data sets to drive performance.
• Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, promotion, inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Support Category leader to drive strategic initiatives and business opportunities.
• Work with Retail Leaders to optimize selection mix and drive top/bottom-line on Grocery and Non-Grocery.
• Identify automation opportunities to offer scalable solutions and improve profitability metrics.
• Own P&L post-launch to hit targets and drive profitability with stakeholders.
• Define assortment and refine mix to improve space utilization.
• Collaborate with Retail to source deals for Tier 1 & Tier 2 events for Prime customers.
• Ensure content quality is best in class to improve conversion.
• Negotiate category marketing funds from vendors for visibility during BAU/Events.
• Partner with Retail to align with Annual Retail JBP for major vendors.
• Collaborate with Ads to secure fair share of Brand Ads investment.
