Job summary

Abunayyan Holding in Dammam seeks an experienced Projects Planner / Planning Engineer to join our Projects/Operations team. You will develop and manage project time plans to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities include defining goals, coordinating activities, monitoring progress and risks, and preparing forecasts and reports for clients and management. A strong background in oil, gas, water, or electrical projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, Electrical, or related project environments.
• Experience with Aramco, SABIC, Marafiq, SWCC or similar clients is preferred.

• Gather actual project data, update schedules, and prepare reliable forecasts.
• Support Project Managers in Integrated Baseline Review and baseline schedule development.
• Coordinate client planning activities and respond to customer requirements.
• Prepare and manage risk assessments for assigned projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, Electrical, or related project environments.
• Experience with key clients such as Aramco, SABIC, Marafiq, SWCC, or similar is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Asta Powerproject.
• Strong reporting, communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of engineering principles, budgeting, and project control.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
