Job summary

The Arab Lens seeks a Planning Engineer to develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress and ensure delivery within timelines for engineering and infrastructure projects in the region.

The successful candidate will prepare, maintain and monitor schedules, perform critical path analyses, and support project teams and senior management with planning and reporting. Fluency in English is required and 4+ years of planning experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or Construction Engineering.
• 4+ years of project planning experience.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and work programs.
• Monitor project progress against approved baselines.
• Analyze schedule performance and identify project risks.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate planning activities with project managers and site teams.
• Update project schedules based on actual progress.
• Conduct critical path and delay analysis.
• Support resource planning and workload forecasting.
• Assist in preparing recovery plans where required.
• Maintain project planning documentation and reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with project planning standards and contractual requirements.

The Role

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing maintaining and monitoring project schedules while providing planning support to project teams and senior management The successful candidate will contribute to effective project execution through accurate planning progress monitoring and schedule analysis
