Job summary

Mizuho is looking for a seasoned Project Finance professional to support origination and advisory mandates across power, renewables, natural resources and infrastructure in the MEA region. The role involves collaboration with London-lead teams and cross-border deal execution.

You will build and review financial models, manage client relationships, and help structure transactions that maximise sponsor value while controlling risk. Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support financial advisory mandates and origination of suitable transactions.
• Ensure mandates are executed to maximise sponsor returns and timely.
• Structure transactions to mitigate risks to an appropriate degree.
• Cross-market and cross-sell where possible including products.
• Contribute to management of client relationships and financial modelling.
• Prepare pitches and collaborate with MEA RHQ and Saudi team as needed.
• Provide general support to the team and other duties as required.

Job description

Profile Summary

Assisting 1) the origination of new business opportunities and relationship, 2) on financial advisory mandates and 3) Project Finance / Structured Finance transactions together with the Power and Energy Transition and PFI/Infrastructure team in London as required by the MDs.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Support financial advisory mandate
• Origination of suitable transactions
• Ensure that financial advisory mandates are executed with due attention paid to maximising sponsor returns and in a timely manner
• Ensure that transactions are structured to mitigate risks to the appropriate degree
• Cross-market and cross-sell where possible including products
• Contribute to overall professional management of client relationships
• Financial modelling and & Pitchbook preparation where relevant
• Provide general support and assistance to the team assigned from time to time
• To collaborate and communicate with managements in Mizuho MEA RHQ, Mizuho Saudi Arabia Company and other Mizuho team related to Project Finance and Structured Finance
• Other duties as may be requested by the Managing Director and/or Team Head in support of the Department's ongoing business requirements.
