Job summary

Mohammad Al Habib Real Estate Co. is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead major towers projects in Riyadh and Makkah. You will champion planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met.

The role requires strong leadership across construction, engineering, safety and procurement, excellent stakeholder management with government authorities, and a commercial mindset to deliver complex mega projects in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction experience.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale tower/high-rise projects or Mega Projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi construction regulations, permitting processes, and labor laws.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Hold overall responsibility for successful delivery of the towers project in the Riyadh region, safeguarding time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Lead and direct the entire site organization, including construction, engineering, safety, quality, procurement, planning, logistics, and administrative functions.
• Liaise with local Riyadh authorities and project stakeholders to secure permits and approvals required for the project.
• Chair project progress meetings, review critical path activities, and drive corrective actions for schedule or cost deviations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Saudi labor law, and applicable local regulations.
• Manage project risk, resolve disputes, and make key strategic decisions at the site level.
• Oversee resource planning and mobilization of site personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Report project status, risks, and forecasts to executive management on a regular basis.

Role Summary:

The Project Director will have overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of a major towers projects in Riyadh and Makkah. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Hold overall responsibility for successful delivery of the towers project in the Riyadh region, safeguarding time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact with the client, consultants, government authorities, and other stakeholders in the Riyadh region.
• Lead and direct the entire site organization, including construction, engineering, safety, quality, procurement, planning, logistics, and administrative functions.
• Liaise with local Riyadh authorities (municipality, Civil Defense, security agencies) and relevant project stakeholders to secure permits and approvals required for the project.
• Chair project progress meetings, review critical path activities, and drive corrective actions for schedule or cost deviations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Saudi labor law, and applicable local regulations.
• Manage project risk, resolve disputes, and make key strategic decisions at the site level.

Minimum Qualifications:
