Job summary

Middle East Mattress Factory Co. in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations on-site. The role requires an engineering mindset, 5+ years in mattress production, and strong English communication to direct a diverse team effectively.

The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end production processes, leverage Odoo ERP for MRP and inventory, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Production) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in mattress/bedding manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of Odoo ERP (Manufacturing and Inventory modules).
• Fluent in English; additional Arabic/Tagalog/Hindi advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate end-to-end mattress production workflows to meet daily output schedules.
• Utilize Odoo ERP to manage work orders, BOMs, material consumption, and shop floor inventory levels.
• Lead and train production staff, assign shifts, and deliver clear English instructions and safety briefings.

Job Summary

Middle East Mattress Factory Co. is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our plant in Jeddah. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering mindset, 5+ years of direct mattress manufacturing experience, and proficiency in Odoo ERP. Because you will be leading a diverse, multicultural workforce, excellent English communication skills are strictly required to ensure clear operational directives, safety alignment, and smooth workflow execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Mattress Production Supervision: Direct and coordinate the end-to-end mattress manufacturing workflows—including quilting, spring core assembly, tape-edging, and final packaging to meet daily output schedules.
• Odoo ERP Management: Actively utilize the Odoo MRP module to manage work orders, verify Bills of Materials (BOM), track material consumption, and maintain precise shop floor inventory levels.
• Team Leadership & Communication: Supervise, assign shifts, and train production floor workers. Deliver clear technical instructions and safety briefings in fluent English to ensure unified team performance.
• Efficiency & Waste Control: Monitor line efficiency, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement structural adjustments to minimize raw material scrap rates and optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Quality Standard Enforcement: Inspect incoming components and final products against strict company design blueprints and premium comfort metrics before dispatching to the warehouse.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Synchronize workflows with the procurement, maintenance, and logistics departments via Odoo to avoid raw material shortages and plan preventive machinery downtime.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience specifically within the mattress or bedding manufacturing industry.
• ERP Systems: Hands-on working knowledge of Odoo ERP software (Manufacturing and Inventory modules).
• Language Requirements: Must speak, read, and write English fluently (essential for technical reporting and floor management). Additional command of Tagalog, Hindi, or Arabic is an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with industrial mattress machinery (automated sewing, tape-edge machines, pocket spring lines) and manufacturing safety protocols.
