Job summary

Sealy Mattress Middle East in Jeddah is seeking a Production Manager to lead end-to-end mattress manufacturing, aligning operations with business goals and driving efficiency across quilting, pocket spring core, and final packaging.

You will orchestrate production planning, manage the Odoo ERP system for BOMs and shop floor control, monitor OEE, ensure strict QA, and lead a diverse workforce while upholding safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical/Production preferred).
• 8+ years in mattress manufacturing or premium bedding with supervisory experience.
• Fluent English; Arabic or Hindi advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate mattress production workflows to meet schedules.
• Manage BOMs and WIP using Odoo ERP.
• Monitor OEE and reduce scrap and waste.
• Oversee QA against blueprints before dispatch.
• Lead shift supervisors and ensure safety protocols.

With a modern production plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, we deliver premium bedding products using state-of-the-art automated machinery and industry-leading comfort technology.

Position Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Production Manager to lead and oversee our end-to-end mattress manufacturing operations in Jeddah. In this leadership role, you will align manufacturing with business goals, improve plant efficiency, reduce raw material waste, and lead a diverse, multicultural team.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Execution: Direct and coordinate the factory's full mattress manufacturing workflows—including quilting, pocket spring core assembly, tape-edging, and final packaging. Develop daily, monthly, and annual production schedules to meet volume targets and ensure timely delivery.
• ERP & Shop Floor Control: Masterfully utilize the Odoo ERP (MRP module) to manage work orders, verify complex Bills of Materials (BOM), track actual raw material consumption, and maintain precise shop floor inventory control.
• Efficiency Optimization (OEE): Continually monitor assembly line efficiency, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement structural adjustments to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) while minimizing scrap and material wastage.
• Quality Assurance Alignment: Oversee strict inspection protocols against premium comfort metrics and precise technical blueprints before final products are dispatched to the warehouse.
• Workforce Leadership & Safety: Supervise, train, and motivate shift supervisors and line workers. Conduct safety briefings and enforce strict workplace protocols.
• Cross-Functional Synchronization: Seamlessly collaborate with procurement, plant maintenance, and logistics departments via Odoo to mitigate material shortages and schedule preventive machinery downtime.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering preferred).
• Experience: At least 8 years of direct experience in mattress manufacturing or premium bedding industries, with a proven track record in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Technical & ERP Skills: Strong engineering mindset with hands-on proficiency in Odoo ERP software (specifically manufacturing and inventory modules). Familiarity with automated sewing, tape-edge lines, and pocket spring machinery is highly preferred.
• Language Skills: Fluent professional communication in written and spoken English is strictly required to lead a diverse workforce. Command of Arabic or Hindi is a major advantage.
