Vitatech Group Middle East seeks an experienced Product Specialist in Saudi Arabia to promote injectable and hospital-based pharmaceutical products, build relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, hospital procurement teams, and KOLs, and support tender activities and market development across the Kingdom.

The ideal candidate will have strong pharmaceutical or clinical knowledge, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a good understanding of Saudi healthcare procurement,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Promote injectable pharmaceutical products to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and procurement teams.
  • Conduct scientific presentations, product detailing, and demonstrations with emphasis on efficacy, safety, indications and benefits.
  • Develop relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital accounts and KOLs.
  • Identify new business opportunities within government and private healthcare institutions.
  • Support tender submissions, product registrations, pricing follow-up, and account coordination.
  • Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to ensure product availability and commercial execution.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue and market-share growth.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity in Saudi Arabia.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to support launches and product development.
  • Attend conferences and events to raise product awareness and strengthen networks.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts, and CRM updates.
  • Provide management with feedback on market opportunities and customer requirements.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting the company’s pharmaceutical products, with a particular focus on injectable and hospital-based products.

The Product Specialist will develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital stakeholders, and key opinion leaders (KOLs), while supporting sales growth, product awareness, tender activities, and market development across the Kingdom.

The ideal candidate will have strong pharmaceutical or clinical knowledge, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a good understanding of the Saudi healthcare market, including government and private hospital procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and provide scientific information on injectable pharmaceutical products to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, hospital procurement teams, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct effective scientific presentations, product detailing, and product demonstrations, communicating clinical efficacy, safety, indications, and product benefits.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital accounts, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within government and private healthcare institutions.
  • Support hospital and government tender activities, including tender submissions, product registration requirements, pricing follow-up, and account coordination.
  • Work closely with distributors, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective product availability and commercial execution.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue and market-share growth within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, customer needs, and changes within the Saudi healthcare market.
  • Collaborate with Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other relevant teams to support product positioning, launches, and ongoing product development.
  • Attend and participate in medical conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and scientific events to increase product awareness and strengthen professional networks.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.
  • Provide regular feedback to management regarding market opportunities, customer requirements, competitor activity, and product performance.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable Saudi healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical sales, or product specialist roles, preferably with injectable, hospital, or specialty pharmaceutical products.
  • Strong knowledge of injectable pharmaceutical products, including their clinical applications, safety profiles, and appropriate use.
  • Experience working with hospitals, healthcare institutions, physicians, and procurement teams.
  • Previous experience with NUPCO and/or hospital-based tenders and procurement processes is preferred.
  • Good understanding of SFDA regulations and the Saudi healthcare system.
  • Strong scientific detailing, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a results-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
  • Valid Saudi driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory and across KSA as required.
