Job summary

Kafou Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Product Specialist to promote and support surgical products. You will provide clinical and technical expertise to healthcare professionals, conduct product demonstrations, and training, while building strong customer relationships and achieving sales targets.

The role requires hands-on experience across orthopedic, general, and laparoscopic surgery products, English and Arabic fluency, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical/healthcare field.
• 1–3 years in medical device or surgical product sales.
• Hands-on experience with orthopedic, general, and laparoscopic surgery products.
• Willing to travel; Saudi driving license preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company's surgical products to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training for customers.
• Provide clinical and technical support during product evaluations and surgeries when required.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities and report findings to management.
• Prepare sales forecasts and visit reports.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

TheProduct Specialist is responsible for promoting and supporting the company'ssurgical products by providing clinical and technical expertise to healthcareprofessionals. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing strongcustomer relationships, conducting product demonstrations and training, andensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance withcompany policies and industry regulations

Key Tasks /Responsibilities:

• Promote andsell the company'ssurgical products to hospitals, clinics, and healthcareprofessionals.
• Achieveassigned sales targets and contribute to the overall business objectives.
• Build andmaintain strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and otherhealthcare stakeholders.
• Conductproduct presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training for customers.
• Provideclinical and technical support during product evaluations and surgicalprocedures when required.
• Identify newbusiness opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
• Monitor markettrends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and report findings tomanagement.
• Prepare salesforecasts, customer visit reports, and other required documentation in a timelymanner.
• Coordinatewith internal departments to ensure efficient order processing, productavailability, and customer satisfaction.
• Attend medicalconferences, workshops, and exhibitions to promote products and expandprofessional networks.
• Ensurecompliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable healthcareregulations.
• Perform anyother duties assigned by the Surgical Division Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or any higher qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Medical Laboratory, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or any related healthcare field.
• 1–3 years of experience in medical device or surgical product sales.
• Hands-on experience with Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, and Laparoscopic (Minimally Invasive) Surgery products is required.
• Experience in operating room support and surgical procedures is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical products, medical devices, and healthcare market dynamics.
• Must be able to drive and willing to travel frequently. A Saudi driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities and expand customer relationships.
