Job summary

Soum is seeking a Consumer Product Manager to own the buyer and seller experiences across the app and web in a Riyadh-based role. You will influence conversion, retention, and trust by turning consumer insights into impactful features, working cross-functionally with design, engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of product management experience on consumer-facing digital products such as marketplaces, e-commerce, fintech or consumer apps.
• Proven track record of shipping consumer features that move measurable metrics.
• Strong consumer intuition backed by data and ability to explain impact.
• Experience with mobile (iOS/Android) and web development in an agile setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across operations, commercial and tech.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for core consumer areas (buyer/seller journeys or subscriptions) prioritising by impact on conversion, retention, GMV and trust.
• Develop deep understanding of customers via interviews, usability testing, reviews and data.
• Optimise end-to-end marketplace funnel: listing, search, product pages, checkout, payments, delivery and post-purchase.
• Design and improve trust features (condition grading, inspection reports, verified sellers, buyer protection, pricing).
• Shape subscription products for electronics and cars: value proposition, packaging, onboarding, engagement, retention.
• Translate problems into PRDs and user stories; run agile delivery from discovery to release.
• Champion Arabic-first bilingual UX with RTL design and localisation for Saudi users.
• Run experiments: hypotheses, A/B tests, metrics, and data-informed scaling or killing decisions.
• Monitor core KPIs: conversion, listing-to-sale, activation, repeat purchases, retention, NPS, complaints.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing & Growth, and Finance to ensure end-to-end impact of changes.
• Keep tabs on regional/global marketplaces and bring best ideas back to Soum.
