Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Equities Trader to execute client orders under best-execution within our open architecture framework. You will trade buy/sell orders promptly, minimize market impact and price slippage, and communicate market movements and data to clients.

The role requires 3+ years in equities trading, Saudi market knowledge, and strong execution discipline. You will work closely with Front Office, Compliance, IT, Operations and Risk, ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in equities trading.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi stock market.
• Experience with best-execution within open architecture frameworks.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with Front Office, Compliance, IT, Operations and Risk.

Responsibilities

• Support the head of Equities execution on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Compliance, IT, Operations and Risk to develop and improve the business.
• Engage Investment Managers and Relationship Managers on Capital Markets content.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
• Receive and execute sell/buy orders on behalf of DSSA clients.
• Provide information to clients on stock market movements and prices.
• Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the execution of transactions.
• Monitor IPOs and liquidity events and liaise with Tadawul and authorities.

Your key responsibilities:

• Support the head of Equities execution on a day-to-day basis.


• Coordinate with other departments such as Front Office, Compliance, IT, Operations and Risk to help develop, maintain and improve the business.


• Engage Investment Managers and Relationship Managers on Capital Markets content.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations and procedures.


• Receive and execute sell/buy orders on behalf of DSSA clients.


• Provide information to clients on stock market movements, corporate data, stock prices and valuation.


• Monitor, control and mitigate all risks associated to the execution of transactions.


• Monitor and participate where necessary in IPOs and other liquidity events in the market.


• Liaise with Tadawul and authorities to ensure DSSA Equity Trading abides by market rules, and to keep abreast of any changes to the rules

Your skills and experience:

• CME-1 + CME-3 qualifications are a must.


• A genuine interest in Financial Markets, with 3+ years’ experience. Equities trading experience strongly preferred.


• An understanding of the Saudi Arabia stock market and a willingness to learn.


• Strong team player, willing and able to work under pressure, being able to prioritize tasks.


• Strong financial analysis and technical skills. Works fast with precision and takes initiative.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Good knowledge of Bloomberg and Microsoft office programmes.


• Must hold Tadawul Professional Exam Certificate (Registered Broker).


• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
