Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Riyadh is seeking a VP in Corporate Banking to manage and grow a portfolio of multinational and large local corporate clients within the Kingdom. You will be the первo contact for subsidiaries of key clients, coordinating with regional teams to deliver Cash Management, Trade Finance, Lending and FX solutions.

You will identify new business opportunities, structure bespoke financial solutions, and drive execution across cross-border transactions while upholding KYC/AML standards

Qualifications

• Saudi market knowledge and experience with local corporate clients.
• Strong technical proficiency in Cash Management, Trade Finance, and Corporate Lending.
• Advanced financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk assessment abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio management: deepen senior-level relationships with CFOs, Treasurers and Finance Directors within the KSA corporate portfolio.
• Drive profitable revenue growth through cross-selling and targeted origination.
• Identify and onboard new target clients in the Kingdom aligned with risk appetite and strategy.
• Collaborate with Global Relationship Management to be the provider of choice across geographies.
• Execute as a full member of Client Service Teams with product groups for smooth deal lifecycle.
• Maintain Know Your Client profiles and comply with policies.
• Contribute to strategic planning and adjust plans in response to market and regulatory changes.

Corporate Bank (CB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of corporate banking products and services for both corporate entities and financial institutions worldwide. The Corporate Bank Corporate & Multinational Coverage VP is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, including primarily multinational clients (MNCs) as well as large local corporates, and government-related entities (GREs) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - in line with the bank’ set strategy. The VP acts as the primary relationship manager, delivering the bank’s suite of Corporate Banking products - including Cash Management, Trade Finance, Lending, FX, and Securities Services—while collaborating closely with Investment Banking and Treasury/Markets divisions. You will be the first point of contact for the subsidiaries of our focus set of clients. You will liaise with the local Finance Director/CFO and treasury team and become their trusted relationship manager, positioning Deutsche Bank as their preferred banking partner. In this role, you will be expected to actively manage and grow your assigned client portfolio across the Corporate Bank suite of products. Beyond portfolio maintenance, a key focus will be identifying new business opportunities, structuring bespoke financial solutions, and driving their execution. For highly complex or cross-border transactions, you will collaborate closely with product specialists across Cash, Trade, and FX. Success in this position requires seamless alignment with Global and Regional Relationship Managers, alongside strict adherence to the Bank’s KYC, AML, and compliance policies.

Your key responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management: Manage and deepen senior-level relationships with key decision-makers (CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors) within the assigned KSA corporate portfolio. Help maintain and grow the Saudi’s Local coverage profile through active networking and support
• Revenue Generation: Drive profitable revenue growth, meeting financial targets for Net Interest Income (NII) and Fee Income through cross-selling and strategic origination.
• Client Origination : Identify and onboard new target clients within the Kingdom, aligned with the bank's risk appetite and strategic focus.
• Cross-Collaboration: Ensuring in close cooperation with Global Relationship Management (GRM) that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with our client across different geographies and products are explored.
• Execution: Act as a full member of the Client Service Teams with product teams to ensure a smooth execution throughout the lifecycle of a transaction
• Compliance: Esstablish and maintain ‘Know Your Client’ profiles and other required client information in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures
• Strategic contribution: Assist team leaders to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as prompt work process adjustments from time to time to adapt to changes in the market/regulatory environments.

Skills & Competencies:

• Saudi Market knowledge: Experience with sales / local corporate clients within Saudi Arabia market
• Product Knowledge: Strong technical proficiency in Cash Management (liquidity structures, payments), Trade Finance (structured trade, supply chain finance, guarantees), and Corporate Lending.
• Credit Skills: Advanced financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk assessment capabilities.
• Languages: Fluent written and spoken English is required. Fluent Arabic is highly preferred
• Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior C-suite stakeholders both internally and externally
• Proven ability to leverage AI and digital tools responsibly to improve productivity, workflow efficiency, and client outcomes.
