Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Equities Trader to execute client orders with best execution in our open architecture framework. You will minimize price slippage and coordinate with multiple teams to maintain compliance and strong client service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of equities trading experience, CME-1/CME-3 qualifications, and familiarity with Tadawul rules. We value initiative, precision, and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial markets.
• Experience in equities trading is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of the Saudi stock market and willingness to learn.
• CME-1 and CME-3 qualifications are required.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support the head of Equities execution on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Compliance, IT, Operations and Risk to improve the business.
• Engage Investment Managers and Relationship Managers on Capital Markets content.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures.
• Receive and execute buy/sell orders on behalf of clients.
• Provide information on stock movements, data, and valuation.
• Monitor and mitigate risks associated with transaction execution.
• Monitor IPOs and liquidity events when necessary.
• Liaise with Tadawul and authorities to ensure market rules compliance.

Job Description: Details of the Division and Team: You will be responsible for trade & execution of Equities orders under best-execution within our open architecture framework. This involves executing buy/sell orders for clients in a timely and accurate fashion, minimizing market impact and minimizing price slippage from a given metric. Also, ensure the organization’s mission, products and services are constantly presented in a strong and positive light.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the head of Equities execution on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate with other departments such as Front Office, Compliance, IT, Operations and Risk to help develop, maintain and improve the business.
• Engage Investment Managers and Relationship Managers on Capital Markets content.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations and procedures.
• Receive and execute sell/buy orders on behalf of DSSA clients.
• Provide information to clients on stock market movements, corporate data, stock prices and valuation.
• Monitor, control and mitigate all risks associated to the execution of transactions.
• Monitor and participate where necessary in IPOs and other liquidity events in the market.
• Liaise with Tadawul and authorities to ensure DSSA Equity Trading abides by market rules, and to keep abreast of any changes to the rules

Your skills and experience

• CME-1 + CME-3 qualifications are a must.
• A genuine interest in Financial Markets, with 3+ years’ experience.
• Equities trading experience strongly preferred.
• An understanding of the Saudi Arabia stock market and a willingness to learn.
• Strong team player, willing and able to work under pressure, being able to prioritize tasks.
• Strong financial analysis and technical skills.
• Works fast with precision and takes initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg and Microsoft office programmes.
• Must hold Tadawul Professional Exam Certificate (Registered Broker).
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
