Job summary

Responsibilities

• Act as SME in technical/solutions design for Data Center site prep products/services.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop account penetration strategies and targets.
• Develop accounts for products/services and create sales plans.
• Assist Sales with technical qualification, solution proposals, and high-level designs.
• Run POC and RFP processes to close opportunities from a pre-sales angle.
• Build relationships with partners and customers to support sales objectives.
• Lead technical sales calls and prepare pre-sales documentation.
• Develop content and train Ivanti partners and customers.
• Respond to after-hours support queries during rotations and escalate as needed.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM for leads, opportunities and deal registrations.

Job Title

Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Scope

The Pre-Sales Engineer is accountable for advising and coordinating with the Sales team on all technical issues related but not limited to account penetration strategies, pre-sales implementations, solution design and training. S/He is a technical expert building strong relationships with partners and customers and driving the business through multiple technical initiatives.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in technical/solutions design of Data Center site preparation products/services;
• Work with the Sales team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies and achieve set targets;
• Create specific accounts for product(s), service(s) and sales plans pertaining to Data Center site preparation products/services;
• Collaborate with the Sales team in qualifying opportunities, supporting and advising on the technical aspect of the sales lifecycle including technical qualification, presentation of solution proposals and high-level designs and demonstrations;
• Run, manage and drive proof of concepts (POC) and request for proposals (RFP) and close opportunities from a pre-sales perspective;
• Build sound relationships with partners and customers in support of sales objectives;
• Lead technical sales calls;
• Complete required pre-sales documentations in a quick and accurate manner;
• Develop content, train and support Ivanti partners and customers;
• Respond to after-hours support queries during assigned rotations and escalates issues if needed;
• Put available systems into practice (salesforce.com CRM for leads, opportunity and deal registration management) for output efficiency and standardization.
• Understands Uptime Institute Tier certification and being capable of providing a complete data center solutions
• Understand TIA requirement for Data Center Solutions
• Multitasking and ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines maintaining high quantity work.

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.

Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience.
