Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 8 years in tower crane operations, maintenance and supervision
• NEBOSH certification; SBC and OSHA familiarity
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and knowledge of GOSI and Saudi Labour Law
• ISO 45001 certification or similar safety management systems is a plus
• Experience on Saudi Vision 2030 megaprojects
• Knowledge of BIM and digital construction tools
• Fluency in English and Arabic

Responsabilités

• Supervise the installation, operation and dismantling of tower cranes across multiple project sites, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime of tower cranes.
• Monitor adherence to safety protocols including SBC and OSHA requirements; coordinate with project managers and site teams.
• Inspect tower cranes regularly and manage a team of crane operators and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GOSI and Saudi Labour Law) for crane activities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of crane operations, maintenance and inspections for audits and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source spare parts and equipment to avoid project delays.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated on advancements in tower crane technology and recommend upgrades or improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, operation and dismantling of tower cranes across multiple project sites, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols, including compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure crane availability aligns with project timelines and requirements.
• Inspect tower cranes regularly to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
• Manage a team of crane operators and technicians, providing training and performance feedback to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GOSI and Saudi Labor Law, for all crane-related activities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of crane operations, maintenance and inspections for audit and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source spare parts and equipment, ensuring timely availability to avoid project delays.
• Lead incident investigations related to crane operations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in tower crane technology and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.

Working Conditions

Based in Khobar with frequent visits to construction sites across the region. The work environment includes both office settings and outdoor construction sites, exposure to varying weather conditions typical of Saudi Arabia. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory on-site. Standard working hours with occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines. Regional travel may be required to oversee operations at multiple project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in tower crane operations, maintenance and supervision within the construction industry.
• Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent safety standards.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and OSHA regulations.
• Proven experience managing a team of crane operators and technicians.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
