Job summary

BEC Arabia in Khobar is seeking a highly organized Fleet Supervisor to lead our logistics fleet for major construction projects across Saudi Arabia. You will oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance, scheduling, and regulatory compliance to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of fleet management experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
• Certification in Fleet Management or CAFM is preferred.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fleet operations including scheduling, dispatching and tracking of vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, safety standards (ISO 45001/ISO 9001).
• Develop cost-effective fleet strategies to optimize fuel use and reduce costs.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Train drivers and operators on safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate fleet records using fleet management software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely availability of assets for sites.
• Investigate incidents and document reporting for fleet-related events.

BEC Arabia is seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Supervisor to join our Logistics Department in Khobar. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our extensive fleet supporting the delivery of iconic construction and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia.

About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a dedicated Fleet Supervisor to join our Logistics Department in Khobar. In this pivotal role you will oversee the management and maintenance of our extensive fleet of vehicles and equipment ensuring their optimal performance to support our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. As part of a dynamic team you will play a key role in coordinating logistics ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards and implementing cost-effective fleet management strategies. This position offers the opportunity to work on some of Saudi Arabia’s most iconic projects including those aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. You will collaborate closely with project managers site supervisors and external vendors to ensure seamless operations. With a focus on efficiency safety and sustainability this role offers a clear path for professional growth within one of the Kingdom’s leading construction firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking vehicles and equipment.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics, ensuring vehicles and equipment meet operational and safety standards.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs and inspections to minimize downtime and extend asset lifecycles.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including Saudi Labor Law and safety standards ISO 45001 ISO 9001.
• Develop and implement cost-effective fleet management strategies to optimize fuel consumption and reduce operational costs.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers and suppliers for fleet-related services.
• Train drivers and operators on safety protocols, operational guidelines and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet usage, maintenance schedules and expenses using fleet management software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely availability of vehicles and equipment for site operations.
• Investigate and resolve any incidents or accidents involving fleet vehicles, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

Working Conditions

• Location: Office-based in Khobar with occasional site visits to construction and project locations.
• Travel: Regional travel within Saudi Arabia may be required.
• Environment: Combination of office and outdoor site environments exposure to construction site conditions.
• Safety: Compliance with PPE requirements and adherence to safety protocols.
• Hours: Standard full-time schedule with potential for extended hours during peak project phases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Fleet Management or Logistics e.g. NAFA Certified Automotive Fleet Manager - CAFM.
• Experience working on Saudi Vision 2030 projects or other large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
• Knowledge of green fleet management practices and sustainability initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools for fleet performance metrics.
• Experience managing fleets in a multi-national multi-project environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and tools (e.g., Fleetio, Geotab, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI requirements, and safety standards such as ISO 45001.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Certification in Fleet Management or Logistics (e.g., NAFA Certified Automotive Fleet Manager - CAFM).
• Experience working on Saudi Vision 2030 projects or other large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
• Knowledge of green fleet management practices and sustainability initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools for fleet performance metrics.
