Job summary

BEC Arabia in Khobar is seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead the mechanical works on high-profile infrastructure and construction projects. You will supervise a team of technicians and coordinate with engineers and managers to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes adherence to SBC, OSHA, and ISO 45001 standards, with exposure to HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems on large commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of mechanical works experience in construction.
• HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical installations expertise.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration or eligibility for registration.
• Knowledge of SBC, OSHA and ISO 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical technicians and laborers on-site.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, project specs and safety standards.
• Monitor installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Inspect completed work against quality requirements.
• Plan and allocate resources to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate progress and material records.
• Train and mentor junior staff and enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely deliveries of components.
• Implement safety measures per OSHA and ISO 45001 standards.
• Report progress and needs to site management.
• Participate in site meetings and planning discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Working Conditions

Work is primarily conducted on construction sites in Khobar requiring frequent outdoor activity in varying weather conditions Use of strong personal protective equipment PPE strong is mandatory May involve extended hours including weekends to meet project deadlines Collaboration with a multi-national workforce in a fast-paced environment Occasional travel to other project sites within the Kingdom may be required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on mega-projects or government infrastructure initiatives. Knowledge of green building standards such as LEED or Mostadam. Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent safety training. Familiarity with BIM tools for mechanical systems. Experience with ARAMCO Approved Vendor standards.
