Job summary

ACWA NOMAC is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Al Madinnah Al Manwarah, Sidra, Saudi Arabia. You will carry out maintenance, installation and overhauling on mechanical machinery, following SOPs, HSE guidelines and quality standards to ensure reliable operations.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, update logs and participate in continuous improvement while collaborating with the Mechanical Engineer / Supervisor to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate / Associate's Diploma in Mechanical maintenance.
• 3-5 years experience in mechanical maintenance as a technician.
• HSE and quality standards familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and routine preventive mechanical maintenance per ACWA NOMAC procedures.
• Monitor machine conditions and report non-conformances to prevent downtime.
• Respond to mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot using tools and parts; diagnose and repair corrosion, leaks and faults.
• Read manuals and drawings to prepare for maintenance tasks.
• Update maintenance logbook and inventory records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to procedures.
• Ensure health, safety, security and environmental guidelines are followed.
• Perform any other duties as required by the line manager.
