Job summary

ACWA NOMAC is seeking an Electrical Technician in Al Madinnah Al Manwarah, Sidra, to perform maintenance, installation, overhauling and modifications on electrical equipment. Qualifications

• Technical certificate or diploma in electrical maintenance.
• 3–5 years' experience in electrical maintenance in a plant environment.
• Strong understanding of HSE and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily electrical maintenance and routine preventative work per ACWA NOMAC procedures.
• Monitor equipment condition and report non-conformances to enable effective maintenance.
• Respond to electrical failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot faults using diagnosis, repair and testing of circuits and wiring; locate cable faults.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions in transformers, motors, relays and control devices; apply corrective measures.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and manuals to guide maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Align, adjust and calibrate equipment and maintain records of repairs and tests.
• Update maintenance logbooks with work performed, issues and conditions.
