This role aligns supply capabilities with clinical, administrative, and facility management requirements to maintain continuous service delivery, prevent stockouts, and optimize holding costs within the hospital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demand & Supply Planning: Develop accurate demand forecasts for hospital inventory (clinical consumables, non-clinical supplies, administrative materials, and facility spares) based on patient volume trends and department requisitions.
  • Hospital Department Liaison: Coordinate directly with departmental heads (Nursing, Clinical Operations, Facilities, IT, and Finance) to plan for non-routine procurement, major projects, and seasonal volume spikes.
  • Inventory Control & Reorder Optimization: Set and review inventory targets, min/max thresholds, safety stock levels, and reorder points across central hospital warehouses and ward-level sub-stores.
  • MRP & ERP Execution: Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes within the hospital's ERP/HIS platform to ensure timely purchase requisitions and buffer management.
  • Supplies & Material Flow: Track lead times and delivery schedules with procurement and logistics teams to guarantee uninterrupted operational flows throughout the facility.
  • Expiry & Waste Minimization: Enforce strict inventory rotation protocols (FIFO/FEFO) to eliminate material obsolescence and minimize scrap across all hospital store units.
  • KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, stockout frequency, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment rates.
  • Team Supervision: Lead, schedule, and evaluate the performance of planning analysts, store supervisors, and inventory coordinators.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
