Job summary

Atrium Project Management - APM | Talaat Moustafa Group TMG is seeking an experienced Construction Project Scheduler with 6+ years in PMC. You will lead master schedules, design and pre-construction timetables, and ensure on-time completion.

Fluent English is required, with a BSc in Civil/Architecture or Construction Management. PMP/PRMG/IPMA credentials are preferred. You will analyze progress, generate reports, and coordinate with design and construction teams.

Qualifications

• BSc in Civil/Architecture or Construction Management.
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking).
• PM/PMI/IPMA qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare master project schedules with milestones across pre-design, design, tender and construction phases.
• Develop design, pre-bid, shop drawing, submittal, and occupancy schedules.
• Prepare monthly narratives, cost, schedule, and financial reports.
• Support CPM schedules and precedence diagrams for design and construction packages.
• Review contractor schedules and advise on critical activities and progress.
• Assist in activity sequencing and resource allocation.
• Evaluate tenders to ensure alignment with time requirements.
• Provide recommendations to re-schedule or accelerate work to meet deadlines.
• Participate in coordination meetings and other project duties.

Job description

• Have a background in Construction Project Management (PMC).
• Have 6+ years of experience.
• Experience should be in the same required field.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Directly responsible for preparation of the master schedule of the project including all milestone activities for pre-design, design, tender and award, construction, and completion activities.
• Directly responsible for the development of the design schedule, pre-bid schedules, shop drawing and submittal schedule, separate contract schedules and occupancy schedules.
• Direct responsibility for preparation of monthly narrative, cost, schedule and financial reports, submission, and distribution of same.
• Preparation and support for development of CPM schedules and precedence diagrams for design, and the separate design and construction contract packages.
• Review contractor's schedules and updates and advise the Managers and Superintendents of critical activities in the design and construction schedules.
• Assist the Managers of Design, Construction and Superintendents with activity sequencing and resource allocation.
• Assist in evaluation of tenders to determine that separate contractor schedules, and any qualifications to those schedules meet overall project time requirements.
• Provide recommendations when actual progress deviates from scheduled progress so that work may be re-scheduled or accelerated to provide for on-time completion.
• Conduct analysis of alternatives and options in the programming of the works to allow "what if" considerations where market fluctuations, implementation of changes, and/or unanticipated events impact the design and construction schedule.
• Participate in coordination meetings as required.
• Perform any other task assigned to him within the limits of his job duties and responsibilities.

Education Requirements:

• BSc in Engineering (Civil or Architecture Department), or BSc in Construction Management.
• Fluent in English Language (Reading, Writing and Speaking).

Qualifications:

• PMP.
• PRMG.
• IPMA.

• Strong Contractual Knowledge.
• Strong Numerical and Analytical Skills, with proven experience in Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
