Job summary

DAR AL RIYADH is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to oversee major PMO projects in the Riyadh region. You will manage construction delivery from planning through handover, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure scope, schedule, cost, quality and HSE compliance.

The role requires 15+ years in construction management on large-scale projects and strong leadership, communication, and contract-management skills. Saudi project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil engineering, construction management, architecture or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in construction management on large-scale projects (buildings, infrastructure, mixed-use).
• Senior Construction Manager/Project Construction Manager experience within PMC/PMO/EPC or major engineering consultancy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management across major PMO projects from planning through handover and close-out.
• Monitor performance against scope, cost, schedule, quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, infra and other disciplines.
• Lead coordination meetings and resolve site-related issues.
• Review variations, claims and contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with designs, codes and client requirements.
• Oversee readiness testing, commissioning, snagging, handover and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee construction management activities across major projects within the PMO Manage project delivery from construction planning through completion handover and close-out Monitor contractors performance against approved scope cost schedule quality and HSE requirements Coordinate with project managers design consultants contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams Review construction methodologies work programs method statements shop drawings and technical submissions Monitor project progress and identify delays risks resource constraints and potential impacts on project delivery Lead construction coordination meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical and site-related issues Review and support management of variations claims change orders and contractual matters Ensure construction activities comply with approved designs specifications codes standards and client requirements Coordinate interfaces between civil structural architectural MEP infrastructure utilities and other disciplines Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout construction Support project risk management mitigation planning and recovery strategies Review contractor progress reports schedules resource plans and performance against agreed milestones Provide regular construction updates dashboards and executive reports to PMO leadership Support project forecasting resource planning and construction strategy development Ensure effective coordination between PMO project teams consultants contractors and key stakeholders Lead construction readiness testing and commissioning snagging handover and close-out activities Identify opportunities to improve construction processes project delivery productivity and cost efficiency

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.


• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management, preferably on large-scale buildings, infrastructure, residential, mixed-use, or capital projects.


• Proven experience in a Senior Construction Manager / Project Construction Manager role within a PMC, PMO, EPC, or major engineering consultancy.


• Strong experience managing large-scale construction projects from planning through completion and handover.


• Strong knowledge of construction management, project controls, contract administration, and project delivery methodologies.


• Experience managing contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.


• Strong knowledge of construction schedules, progress monitoring, cost control, variations, claims, and risk management.


• Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management/reporting systems.


• Strong understanding of QA/QC, HSE requirements, construction standards, and applicable local/international codes.


• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.


• PMP, CCM, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.


• Saudi Arabia/GCC project experience is strongly preferred.


• Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required/preferred as applicable to the project.
