Job summary

Branch of Sterling and Wilson Data Center Private is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Planner to drive planning for a data center construction program in Riyadh. You will develop detailed schedules with Primavera P6, monitor progress against baselines, and coordinate with EPC and subcontractors to manage critical paths and milestones.

The role requires strong analytical and reporting skills, proficiency in WBS and progress curves, and experience in EOT and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of WBS, baseline schedules, critical path, resource loading, progress measurement and schedule analysis.
• Experience monitoring Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning activities.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience preparing S-curves, dashboards and progress reports.
• Knowledge of EOT, delay analysis, recovery planning and change management will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to work closely with site execution, engineering and commercial teams.
• Previous KSA/GCC and Data Center/mission-critical project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning scheduling progress monitoring and reporting for Data Center construction activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Track planned vs actual progress and analyse schedule deviations, critical path and key milestones.
• Coordinate with Engineering Procurement Construction Commissioning and subcontractor teams for schedule updates.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports dashboards and management presentations.
• Monitor procurement engineering and construction activities against project baseline and identify potential delays.
• Support preparation of recovery schedules catch-up plans and mitigation strategies for delayed activities.
• Maintain project progress measurement systems including WBS activity updates S-curves and progress curves.
• Analyse schedule risks constraints and dependencies and highlight critical issues to project management.
• Support EOT delay analysis change management and project controls requirements as required.
