Job summary

My Clinic is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Controller to manage healthcare stock within our Jeddah facilities. You will ensure accurate recording in the ERP system, track movements, perform regular reconciliations, and uphold regulatory requirements for stock control.

You will collaborate with receiving, storage, and distribution teams, conduct cycle counts, monitor temperature-sensitive items, and implement FIFO and proper storage practices to support safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science.
• Minimum 1 year warehousing OR 2-3 years in pharmacy practice.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain stock levels of medical and non-medical supplies.
• Receive and distribute deliveries and update ERP records.
• Perform cycle counts and stock reconciliations with finance.
• Ensure proper storage, FIFO, and proper labeling.
• Record, track, and report stock data and discrepancies.

Job Summary:

Ensuring all inventory control processes aligned with healthcare industry best practices and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate and efficient recording within the ERP system. In addition to, tracking stock movements, monitoring usage, and conducting regular reconciliations and audits to uphold data accuracy. Maintain accurate warehouse and/or related sub-stores inventory and ensure it is properly organized.

Technical:

• Monitoring and maintaining optimal stock levels of medical and non-medical supplies, equipment, and consumables.
• Receive and distribute all incoming and outgoing deliveries on a timely manner according to Clinic standards, Policies and Procedures
• Revise the requisitions received for stock items from end-users whenever needed.
• Checks quantity, quality and condition of goods received for conformity to purchase order specifications and End-user requirements.
• Properly submit the invoices/ GRN documents to finance on timely manner, Scanning and copied in the SCM Share Folder.
• Participate effectively in the daily cycle count activities & periodical stock take run by finance.
• Checking Fridge/ room temperature and other daily Activates as assigned.
• Implementing and maintaining efficient inventory control procedures, including stock rotation, first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles, and proper storage practices.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implementing systems for proper categorization, storage, and retrieval of items.
• Accurately entering and updating information related to stock levels, item descriptions, and other relevant data into the ERP system.
• Ensuring that all data entered aligns with established coding and categorization standards.
• Ensuring that all received goods meet quality standards and specifications, collaborating with relevant departments to address any quality or safety concerns.
• Recording details of received goods, including quantities, condition, and any discrepancies, in the ERP system, collaborating with the quality assurance team to update the system with information about the inspection and acceptance of received items.
• Maintaining effective communication with various departments to understand their needs and address concerns, coordinating with receiving, storage, and distribution teams to streamline stock-related processes.
• Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labeling.
• Utilizing inventory management software to analyze usage patterns and forecast future needs.
• Generating reports on stock levels, consumption rates, and other relevant metrics for management review.
• Identifying and addressing issues such as overstocking, stockouts, and slow-moving items.
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with stock management, such as expiration of medical supplies, developing and implementing contingency plans for emergencies or disruptions in the supply chain.
• Performing other professional duties as assigned.

Education / Professional Qualifications:

• Education Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical science.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in warehousing operations, OR, 2-3 years of experience in pharmacy practice
