Job summary

Fakeeh Care is seeking an Inventory & Procurement Officer to manage biomedical equipment supplies and materials. You will maintain stock records, monitor levels, and coordinate re-ordering to prevent shortages in a healthcare setting.

With 2 years in inventory management, you will implement controls to minimize waste, support procurement activities, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with suppliers and internal departments. Proficiency in English is required; Arabic preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in inventory management or stock control.
  • Healthcare or biomedical equipment environment experience preferred.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day stock administration and inventory control for biomedical supplies and materials.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and re-order to avoid shortages.
  • Implement controls to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with electronic records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and procurement needs.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for tracking.
  • Follow safety and confidentiality policies and support continuous improvement.

Job description

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing the inventory and procurement of biomedical equipment supplies and materials necessary for healthcare facilities. This role requires meticulous organization, attention to detail and an understanding of biomedical equipment and supplies warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Manages day-to-day administration of stock and inventory control for biomedical equipment supplies and materials. Maintains accurate records of all biomedical equipment supplies and materials in stock, ensuring data integrity. Monitors inventory levels regularly and re-orders supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid shortages. Implements and enforces inventory control measures to minimize waste, reduce costs and optimize stock management. Conducts regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with electronic records and reports. Performs file backup tasks to ensure proper storage and archiving of electronic inventory registers. Receives circulates and accurately records all incoming and outgoing accessories spare parts and other biomedical items. Ensures a sequential numbering system for all outgoing correspondence related to inventory management. Ensures that all correspondence reaches the appropriate department and is properly recorded for tracking purposes. Maintains and updates related document as needed. Follows up on pending documents ensuring timely exchange of original records as required. Contacts suppliers and companies to request quotations ensuring that procurement needs are met with competitive pricing. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Experience: 2 years of experience in inventory management or stock control, preferably in a healthcare or biomedical equipment environment.

Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Biomedical or a related field.

Language: Fluency in English and prefer Arabic.
