Job summary

Saudi Gold Refinery SGR seeks an Organizational Design (OD) Manager in Riyadh to lead workforce planning, capability development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. You will align human capital strategy with operational excellence in a regulated industrial environment and report to the VP of HR.

The role requires extensive experience in OD/HR strategy, change management, and Saudi labor law knowledge, with a focus on technical and blue-collar workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
• 10+ years in organizational development or HR strategy in an industrial/manufacturing setting
• Experience designing competency frameworks and career paths for technical workforces
• Deep understanding of Saudi labor laws, Saudization and Nitaqat mechanisms
• Experience managing organizational change initiatives in regulated environments
• Strong analytical skills to translate workforce data into structural recommendations
• Ability to partner with operational leaders to solve complex workforce challenges
• Fluency in English for drafting policies and interacting with international auditors
• Masters degree in OD/HR or related field preferred
• Experience in mining, metals, or refining sectors preferred
• Certification in change management (Prosci/ADKAR) preferred
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Jisr) preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational structure optimization and quarterly charts aligned with production targets
• Develop and maintain technical competency matrices for refinery operators and assay chemists
• Forecast Saudization and workforce needs; build pipelines with TVTC and institutes
• Design KPI cascades linking goals to throughput and safety metrics
• Lead change management for major tech upgrades or process improvements
• Oversee job evaluation and grading across employee categories
• Conduct annual organizational health surveys and drive improvements
• Provide HR data analytics and strategic insights to senior leadership
