Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist in Ophthalmology to support hospitals and clinics across the Middle East from Jeddah. The role focuses on training healthcare professionals and ensuring safe use of Alcon cataract and refractive devices on-site and remotely.

You'll provide technical training, respond to inquiries with accurate information, and coordinate with Field Service Engineers for installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting while maintaining clinical certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical or medical device experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and clinical training to surgeons and OR staff on Alcon devices.
• Deliver on-site or remote support for the approved use of Cataract and Refractive Surgical Devices.
• Assist with product demonstrations and maintain required clinical certifications.
• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers and Medical Safety for installations, upgrades, and issue resolution.
• Document visits and report adverse events per SOP and compliance guidelines.
