Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Consultant Ophthalmologist to join a Riyadh-based hospital. You will deliver comprehensive eye care, lead surgical cases, and contribute to departmental growth in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.

The ideal candidate has a medical degree with board certification in Ophthalmology, 5+ years post-qualification experience, and Arabic fluency. Saudi licensing eligibility and a commitment to high-quality patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with board certification in Ophthalmology.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in ophthalmic care.
• Proven surgical expertise in ophthalmology subspecialties.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory with strong communication skills.
• Eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties licensing.
• Ability to work in fast-paced multicultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a broad range of ocular conditions.
• Perform advanced ophthalmic surgeries including cataract, glaucoma, corneal, and retinal procedures based on subspecialty.
• Manage acute and chronic eye diseases using evidence-based treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging such as OCT, fundus photography, visual fields, and ultrasound.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.
• Mentor junior doctors, residents, and allied healthcare staff.
