Job summary

Halliburton in Saudi Arabia seeks an entry-level trainee to support GeoBalance Applications operations. Under supervision, you will learn preparation of equipment, assist rigging, run a job, monitor instruments and ensure data quality at the well.

No prior experience required; a high school diploma is sufficient. You will work on locations on and offshore, with on-site training and development opportunities within the Operations family.

• Skills acquired through completion of a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic GeoBalance Applications operations under supervision.
• Assist in rigging up and down of equipment on onshore and offshore locations.
• Assist in running a job, cleaning up, repairing, and preparing for the next job.
• Monitor instruments and perform basic calculations to assure data quality at the well.
• Must pass company tests and meet competency requirements.

Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, learns basic GeoBalance Applications operations through preparation of equipment for installation and services.
• Assists in the rigging up and down of GeoBalance Applications service line equipment, on work locations both on and offshore.
• Assists in the running of a job, clean up, repair, and preparation of the next job.
• Learns to monitor instruments and perform necessary calculations to assure quality of the data at the well.
• Must have successfully passed company tests and met competency requirements.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required.
• Reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
• Skills are acquired through completion of a high school diploma.
• Previous experience is not required.
