Job Summary

The OM manages the operational activities of the department covering a number of functions, including budget preparation and management, IT, events and logistics, departmental communications, program development and review, financial operations, procurement related activities, recruitment and staff performance.

Major Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Saudi Initiative’s Senior Team to develop Saudi Initiatives operating plan, measuring progress against the strategic plan
• Supports the development of an annual operating budget, ensuring it aligns with strategic priorities
• Oversees projects that typically require cross-functional collaboration and resource allocation, providing high-level project management
• Ensures that the VPSI is fully briefed and prepared for meetings and events
• Provides ad-hoc analysis and decision support
• Coordinates activities, sets agendas, and summarizes deliverables for Saudi Initiatives’ Senior Team, Open Staff Meetings, and other meetings
• Represents the VPSI with funders and other partners in person and in writing
• Participates in the VPSI’s internal and external communications, both written and spoken
• Ensures that Saudi Initiatives units remain compliant with policy, regulations, and best audit practices. Compliance duties include keeping accurate records and ensuring alignment with policy, regulations, and best audit practices.

Required Education

• Bachelor degree; Master’s preferred in Business Technology Management, Management Information Systems or other related disciplines

Required Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of responsible experience in related fields with a minimum of 3 year management experience.
