Job summary

ASMO in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Operation Support Analyst to provide analytical, operational, and administrative support to the Supply Chain Operations Management & Data Analytics function. You will monitor performance, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive process improvements to enable informed decision-making and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM or Business Administration required or highly preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certificate and/or Supply Chain/Logistics certifications preferred.
• Proven proficiency in English (oral and written) and strong data/analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Monitor and report Supply Chain KPIs (OTD, Inventory Accuracy, Order Cycle Time, Warehouse Productivity).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports using Excel and Power BI.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in RCA for operational issues and track CAPAs.
• Ensure SOP compliance and support process standardization across operations.
• Coordinate with Warehousing, Transportation, Planning, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues.
• Support inventory analysis, stock reconciliation, and optimization initiatives.
• Maintain data accuracy and governance in ERP/WMS/TMS.

Objective

The role of Operation Support Analyst is to provide analytical, operational, and administrative support to the Supply Chain Operations Management & Data Analytics function by monitoring performance, coordinating cross-functional activities, maintain accurate operational data, and driving process improvements. The role ensures efficient execution of supply chain operations through timely reporting, issue resolution, KPI tracking, and support for continues improvements initiatives, enabling informed decision-making and operational excellence.

General Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of new processes and systems to ensure smooth transitions and address any issues promptly.
• Analyse operational data and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and report Supply Chain KPIs (e.g., OTD, Inventory Accuracy, Order Cycle Time, Warehouse Productivity)
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and performance reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, etc.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for operational issues and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support process standardization across operations.
• Coordinate with Warehousing, Transportation, Planning, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to resolve operational issues.
• Support Inventory analysis, stock reconciliation, and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Maintain data accuracy and support governance within ERP/WMS/TMS.
• Provide operational support for ERP, WMS, TMS, and other Supply Chain systems, including issue tracking and system enhancements.
• Prepare management reports, business reviews, and execute presentations on operational performance & MBRs.
• Support Supply Chain Projects, digital transformation initiatives, and process automation efforts.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support operational decision-making and business planning.
• Track action items and follow up on operational improvement plans to ensure timely execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is high preferred or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma certificate is preferred.
• Supply Chain or Logistics certifications is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
• Logical thinking is required.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
• Power BI proficiency.
• SAP Inventory Management System (IM) proficiency.
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) proficiency.
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role or in Supply Chain functions.
