Job summary

Egis Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a detail-oriented Environment Engineer to support environmental management, monitoring, and compliance activities on construction projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory adherence and environmental performance.

Requires a minimum of 6 years in owner or consulting environments, GCC and Saudi exposure, and strong data analysis skills. English proficiency is essential; Arabic is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant environmental experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar.
• GCC and Saudi Arabia experience in environmental projects.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, permitting and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Strong English communication; Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support construction environmental assurance activities, including site inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Implement and support environmental monitoring programs per project and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain environmental documentation, reports, and records to ensure regulatory compliance and organizational accountability.
• Analyze environmental data to identify trends, potential non-compliances and required corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into construction and project delivery activities.
• Support regulatory liaison with relevant authorities and submissions.
• Conduct environmental audits and inspections to verify compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Engage with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Prepare and present monitoring results and findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry standards.
