Job summary

KEO International in Jeddah is seeking a Civil Inspector to join our award-winning team. The role will perform on-site inspections in line with ITPs, review shop drawings, and ensure compliance with contract drawings and local/international standards.

The candidate should have 5 years of civil engineering experience and hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on safety and quality in field operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years work experience in civil engineering projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and international best practice.
• Report works not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders.
• Monitor quality and safety at site, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and safety risk assessments.
• Maintain daily site activity records with progress photos for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance and NCR reports as required.
• Check coordination between discipline-related works and other disciplines.
• Provide technical input to resolve site-related issues.
