Job summary

Maseera is seeking two NICU-experienced newborn nurses for a private family in Jeddah. UK & European-trained candidates preferred to join a specialized paediatric team caring for a newborn post-surgery.

Shifts are 8 hours during day and evening, with six days per week and on-call night coverage from the residence. Availability around the clock and seamless handovers are required to ensure continuous care.

Qualifications

• UK/European NICU training and hands-on experience with newborns.
• Experience caring for infants after cardiac surgery preferred.
• Ability to work rotating 8-hour day/evening shifts with on-call nights.

Responsibilities

• Care for an infant after cardiac surgery: feeding, observations and medication.
• Work with the paediatric cardiologist and neonatal team.
• Recognise early signs of deterioration and escalate promptly.

A private family in Jeddah has asked Medical Staff Talent to introduce a pair of UK & European-trained NICU-experienced Newborn Nurses. A baby with a heart condition diagnosed before birth will come home after surgery, and the family wants two nurses with NICU experience.

The family always employs two nurses so that care never depends on one person. The two nurses alternate 8-hour shifts during the day and evening, with the night covered on call from within the residence. Availability 24/7 and a six-day week are part of the appointment, as is usual with private families in the Gulf.
