Client of Ethra Hr is seeking a National Workshop Manager to lead nationwide vehicle maintenance across Saudi Arabia. The role will guide Regional Workshop Managers in Western, Central and Eastern regions, ensuring fleet availability, quality maintenance, cost control, and compliance with standards.

It also involves managing relationships with automotive agencies, workshops and service providers for both conventional and electric fleets.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in automotive maintenance, with strong managerial experience.
  • Experience in multi-site / multi-region workshop operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive fields preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop nationwide vehicle maintenance strategy across Saudi Arabia.
  • Oversee Western, Central, and Eastern regional workshops and managers.
  • Monitor preventive/corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Control maintenance costs and budgets while ensuring quality and safety.
  • Coordinate with agencies, workshops, and service providers; manage vendor relationships.

Job description

The National Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing nationwide vehicle maintenance operations across Saudi Arabia The role will lead Regional Workshop Managers across the Western Central and Eastern regions ensuring effective workshop operations fleet availability maintenance quality cost control and compliance with required standards The position will also manage relationships with automotive agencies workshops and service providers while supporting the maintenance of both conventional and electric vehicles

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the nationwide vehicle maintenance strategy in line with business requirements Oversee workshop and maintenance operations across the Western Central and Eastern regions Lead and manage Regional Workshop Managers and ensure effective performance across all regions Establish and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime Ensure high fleet availability and timely completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance Monitor and control maintenance costs and budgets Manage relationships with automotive agencies external workshops service providers and suppliers Negotiate and manage service agreements and vendor relationships where required Oversee warranty recovery and accident repair assessments Ensure maintenance activities comply with manufacturer guidelines safety requirements and relevant standards Monitor maintenance performance through operational reports and KPIs Identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency maintenance quality and fleet availability Support the use of maintenance management systems ERP systems dashboards and digital tools Coordinate with Operations Procurement Finance and other relevant departments Oversee maintenance requirements for both conventional and electric vehicles Conduct regular visits to regional workshops and travel between locations when required

Requirements

Experience:8+ years of experience in automotive maintenance, with strong managerial experience; preferably more than 4 years in a managerial position.Industry Experience:Experience in Car Rental , Fleet Management , Automotive Dealership / Agency , or related automotive operations.Management Experience:Proven experience managing multi-site / multi-region workshop or maintenance operations.Fleet Experience:Experience managing vehicle fleets and ensuring fleet availability.Technical Exposure:Experience with conventional vehicles, with some exposure to electric vehicles preferred.Education:Bacheloru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Automotive Engineering , or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.Languages:Strong English communication skills.Travel:Willingness to travel to Riyadh, Jeddah, and other regions when required
