Job summary

Zahid Industries seeks a seasoned Fleet Workshop Manager to lead the maintenance, repair, and compliance of the company’s vehicle fleet at the Jeddah workshop. You will oversee scheduling, staff supervision, and cost-efficient procurement to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, 5+ years in a similar fleet workshop, and fluency in Arabic and English. You will drive safety standards and maintain meticulous repair records, collaborating with procurement

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology or related field.
• Strong diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks and trailer knowledge; familiar with KSA vehicle compliance.
• Proficient in diagnostic tools and workshop management software.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the workshop and supervise staff.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles.
• Ensure regulatory standards are met for all trucks.
• Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and consumables.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics: downtime, repeat repairs, part usage.
• Enforce safety, housekeeping and environmental standards in the workshop.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, service and inspections.
• Provide technical support for fleet condition assessment and procurement.
