Job summary

Al-Takamol Al-Hadith Contracting in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead a heavy equipment workshop for CAT, Mercedes Actros and other fleets. You will oversee daily operations, allocate jobs, and drive maintenance strategies on engines, hydraulics and undercarriage.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years in heavy equipment maintenance, 3 in a leadership role, a Mechanical Engineering degree, fluent English, and hands-on leadership on the

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in heavy equipment maintenance, including 3 as Workshop or Maintenance Manager.
• Overhaul experience on Caterpillar and Mercedes Actros (or equivalent European heavy trucks).
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• ERP or CMMS experience; Odoo is an advantage.
• Transferable Iqama and valid Saudi driving licence.
• Hands-on leader who works on the workshop floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead major repairs and complete overhauls of engines, powertrain, hydraulics and undercarriage.
• Build, train and supervise the mechanic and technician team.
• Maintain job cards, material requests and equipment history on Odoo, with attendance on Jisr.
• Deliver weekly reports on downtime, availability and job completion, and enforce HSE standards.

Al-Takamol Al-Hadith Contracting, a GECAT Group company serving Saudi Aramco since 1980, is expanding its heavy equipment workshop and is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager.

Candidates must be currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.

Fleet

Caterpillar dozers, loaders, graders and excavators, along with Mercedes-Benz Actros tractor heads and heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop operations, including job allocation, priorities and equipment availability
