Soundlines Group is seeking a mobile equipment electrical technician with 3–4 years of relevant experience in the port/terminal sector. The role involves preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on heavy vehicles, troubleshooting of electrical and control systems, and interpreting wiring diagrams and manuals.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or technology, good English communication, and be prepared to work across sites in the Kingdom of Saudi
Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment and heavy vehicles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system faults in heavy and light equipment.
Carry out maintenance activities according to operational schedules and supervisor instructions.
Read, understand and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals and technical documentation.
Identify electrical components, circuits, wiring faults, sensors, switches, relays, control systems and related components.
Use electrical testing equipment, diagnostic tools and measuring instruments effectively.
Identify required spare parts, materials and resources for maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance and repair activities.
Follow planned maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized working area and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
Follow all company HSE port safety and work procedures.
Report technical problems, equipment conditions and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor, foreman or manager.
Be willing to work at any location within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as per company requirements.
Only candidates with relevant PORT/TERMINAL experience and strong electrical maintenance experience in mobile or heavy equipment should apply. 3–4 years of relevant experience as a mobile equipment electrical technician, automotive electrical technician or heavy equipment electrical technician.
Port/terminal industry experience is mandatory.
Strong hands‑on experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of mobile equipment, heavy vehicles, and automotive electrical systems.
Diploma or degree in electrical engineering / electrical technology or a relevant technical qualification.
Good knowledge of electrical components, control systems, wiring, circuits and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Good knowledge of electrical testing and measuring instruments.
Good English communication skills are mandatory.
The candidate must have a professional attitude and should not be aggressive in nature. The candidate must demonstrate good moral character, discipline and professional conduct.
Must be physically fit and strong enough to work in a demanding field environment.
Must be flexible to work in roster / rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
Willingness to work outdoors and under varying weather and site conditions.
Must be flexible to work anywhere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to company requirements.
