Job summary

Alhawas Group in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Medical Sales Representative to promote and sell medical and surgical supplies to hospitals, clinics and healthcare providers in Saudi Arabia. You will visit customers daily in your assigned territory, present products to procurement and clinical staff, follow up on quotations and tenders, and ensure orders are delivered and paid on time.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of sales experience in medical, surgical or hospital supplies in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of MOH and private hospital purchasing processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Valid Saudi driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• MS Office proficiency; comfortable with CRM/ERP for orders and reports.

Responsibilities

• Visit MOH and private hospitals, clinics and medical centres in the territory.
• Present and demonstrate medical disposables, instruments and consumables to staff.
• Generate leads, prepare quotations and follow up until orders close.
• Support tender team with product info, pricing and follow-ups.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the territory.
• Follow up deliveries, customer complaints and collections with warehouse and accounts.
• Maintain customer records, visit reports and sales pipeline in the system.
• Report market feedback and pricing to the sales manager.
• Stay updated on product knowledge through training and suppliers.
• Represent the company at product evaluations and exhibitions when needed.

About the Company

Alhawas Group was established in Dammam in 1999 and is the exclusive Saudi representative for world-leading industrial and medical brands, with offices in Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah and Khamis Mushait. Our medical division, Alhawas Medical Supply, provides SFDA regulatory representation, medical and surgical product sales, and market-entry support for international manufacturers entering Saudi Arabia. The group also supplies medical and dental products to healthcare facilities in Bahrain.

About the Role

We are looking for a Medical Sales Representative to promote and sell our medical and surgical supplies to hospitals, clinics and healthcare providers in Saudi Arabia. You will visit customers daily in your assigned territory, present our products to procurement and clinical staff, follow up on quotations and tenders, and make sure orders are delivered and paid on time. This is a field role for someone who enjoys building relationships and closing sales in the healthcare market.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit Ministry of Health hospitals, private hospitals, clinics, polyclinics and medical centres in the assigned territory according to a weekly visit plan.
• Present and demonstrate medical disposables, surgical instruments and consumables to procurement, nursing, surgical and biomedical staff.
• Generate leads, prepare quotations and follow up until the order is closed.
• Support the tender team with product information, samples, pricing input and hospital follow-up.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory and product lines.
• Follow up on deliveries, customer complaints and collections with the warehouse and accounts teams.
• Maintain accurate customer records, visit reports and sales pipeline in the company system.
• Report market feedback, competitor activity and pricing to the sales manager.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge through manufacturer and internal training.
• Represent the company at hospital product evaluations, exhibitions and conferences when required.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of sales experience in medical, surgical or hospital supplies in Saudi Arabia.
• Good knowledge of hospital purchasing, including how MOH and private hospitals buy medical consumables.
• Existing contacts with procurement, nursing or biomedical staff in Saudi hospitals is a strong plus.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage a territory and daily visit schedule independently.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; comfortable using a CRM or ERP for orders and reports.
• Valid Saudi driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or Business.
• Experience selling disposables, surgical instruments, wound care, infection control or orthopedic consumables.
• Experience supporting NUPCO or Ministry of Health tenders.
• Basic understanding of SFDA registration requirements for medical products.
