Job summary

ACWA Power is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support maintenance operations at the Qudra / Qassim facility in Saudi Arabia. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years in a Thermal Power Plant, with strong SAP CMMS experience.

You will lead mechanical maintenance activities, coordinate site teams, and oversee outages, with emphasis on HSE compliance and continuous improvement. English proficiency is essential for effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a Thermal Power Plant (CCGT, Simple Cycle, or Steam Plant).
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP CMMS or a similar maintenance management system.
• Proven experience leading and supervising mechanical maintenance activities and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities on plant mechanical equipment.
• Support monthly and annual outages, overhauls, and maintenance shutdowns.
• Execute work orders through SAP/CMMS and coordinate with Planning Engineers.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Review technical quotations and support procurement activities.
• Manage spare parts planning and availability.
• Review maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, IMS, legal, contractual, and organizational requirements.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Support training and development of maintenance personnel.
